Compliance and Quality Management
- Provide strategic leadership for the development and continuous improvement of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS or ePQS)
- Act as a senior organisational lead and formal point of contact for regulatory bodies (e.g. MHRA), overseeing inspection readiness and ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) in response to inspections, complaints, errors, and incidents

Project Management and Improvement Initiatives
- Hold overall accountability for service delivery and operational oversight across all Pharmacy Technical Services
- Provide governance and strategic leadership across the full service portfolio
- Review and approve business cases for service development, expansion and transformation
- Oversee the effectiveness and ongoing review of capacity and contingency planning
- Provide senior oversight of service development and improvement initiatives, including implementation of new technologies, equipment and service models
- Oversee the setting, monitoring and refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support and provide oversight of research and innovation activities within the department and across the wider organisation
