Urgent and emergency care services provide 24/7 care to the public. These services include NHS 111, ambulance service and urgent treatment centres. As a pharmacy professional in this setting, you will work alongside GPs, paramedics, mental health nurses and more. You will support patients by sharing expert pharmaceutical knowledge, helping manage their conditions, signposting to other services or providing reassurance through home management advice.
